Hi everybody, draft day!
Draft will be Sunday @ 7:00 pm MTN time! As usual, draft order is random 1 hour before selection starts.
NEW - I've added an IR spot this year, I thought about adding 2 (if you'd rather do 2, let me know). This shouldn't affect the draft, I don't think anyway, but I've read that ESPN will be treating players that are ineligible to play due to positive covid tests as IR illegible. Players that have been ruled OUT or IR can be added to an IR spot. Keep in mind that if you have a player that's no longer listed as OUT or IR in your IR spot, it affects your ability to make waiver claims and potentially other roster moves. No bitching about this later!
Also NEW, do we want to add special rules regarding players that are held out of games or if games are cancelled/postponed?
Here are my proposed rules... I've posted a League Manager Poll, with a couple variations:
- If a game is cancelled/postponed or starting players are held out of game reasonably close to the games starting time due to a covid related reason (not a normal injury), bench players can be substituted under the following conditions:
- The substituted players must be from the same position group (ie RB for RB, WR for WR, even for flex spots)
- The substituted players must be the player with the highest PROJECTED score.
- If you have no bench players eligible, you will receive a zero score for that position.
- The substituted bench player must have been on your bench before the start of the game they participated in (this is the don't be a dick clause).
