Add Julio Jones to the list, and apparently the Bears v Falcons game is in danger of being postponed because of positive Covid test by CB A.J. Terrell, the first player to be officially ruled out due to a Covid test. 

I'm actually kind of surprised we got to Week 3.

Basically everyone else is at 1-1... except Erica and Ron... and the Broncos.

Week 2 - Kendra lost for the first time in 17 weeks!

I had to go back to 2018 Week 15 to find Kendra's last loss. The queen has been dethroned, you all can think yours truly for the pleasure!

Wacky Week 1 - We don't need no stinking preseason

Draft Rankings

For anybody curious (nobody) here are the draft ranking results:

Those silly auto-drafters are looking strong again. It's amazing what happens in the rankings when you automatically pick the highest ranked player available. I think the computers just like themselves.

We'll see how it plays out this year. My guess... Kendra goes 15-0 again. Of course, I'm only saying that to put a hex on her.

New Covid-19 Rules

100% of the people who voted in the poll liked the rule addition, so we're going to go forward with the set of new rules:

- If a game is cancelled/postponed or starting players are held out of game reasonably close to the games starting time due to a covid related reason (not a normal injury), bench players can be substituted under the following conditions:

- The substituted players must be from the same position group (ie RB for RB, WR for WR, even for flex spots) 

- The substituted players must be the player with the highest PROJECTED score.

- If you have no bench players eligible, you will receive a zero score for that position. 

- The substituted bench player must have been on your bench before the start of the game they participated in (this is the don't be a dick clause).

This is going to take some manual rooster editing on my behalf. Let me know if you have a player or players that need to be substituted. 

The big key here is the phrase "reasonably close to the games starting time" that I'll be paying attention to. 4 hours is reasonably close, 4 days is not. Just a warning.

I just had a moment of panic. And now my worst fears are confirmed... no cheerleaders this year! This is a travesty! 

But at least I found this comment fitting.

2020 The Upper Deckers - Draft Day! New Rules! Poll!

 

Hi everybody, draft day!

Draft will be Sunday @ 7:00 pm MTN time! As usual, draft order is random 1 hour before selection starts. 

NEW - I've added an IR spot this year, I thought about adding 2 (if you'd rather do 2, let me know). This shouldn't affect the draft, I don't think anyway, but I've read that ESPN will be treating players that are ineligible to play due to positive covid tests as IR illegible. Players that have been ruled OUT or IR can be added to an IR spot. Keep in mind that if you have a player that's no longer listed as OUT or IR in your IR spot, it affects your ability to make waiver claims and potentially other roster moves. No bitching about this later!

Also NEW, do we want to add special rules regarding players that are held out of games or if games are cancelled/postponed?
